Koyo Bearings' Employee, Nick Szczechowski, Becomes Certified Bearing Specialist

Koyo is proud to congratulate Nicholas Szczechowski  for successfully completing the Bearing Specialists Association’s examination to become a Certified Bearing Specialist. Nicholas Szczechowski joins other individuals as one of the first certified bearing specialists in the world.

Dave Humphry, Koyo’s North Central Regional Manager said, “Nick is an up and comer in the industry and we applaud him for his commitment to growing his bearing knowledge and taking the initiative to pursue this designation."

Certified Bearing Specialists are those individuals with excellent knowledge in the selection, application and analysis of bearings. They have passed a comprehensive examination which tests and rates their mastery of the critical skills and knowledge for successful execution of the role of bearing specialist. Skill sets performed by bearing specialists and tested in examination include selling bearings, seals and accessories over the counter, explaining product lines; diagnosing problems with installed components; preparing quotes or contracts; recommending interchanges and substitutions; and providing technical services and customer support. The CBS designation instills confidence in the quality of knowledge and critical skills necessary to provide effective services and solutions.

Nick joined Koyo in 2012 as a Sales Account Manager and calls on the Chicago-land area. He resides in Illinois with his lovely wife and two children.
