The TCRA 2015 Seminar was held April 24th and 25th in Greenville, SC - Koyo Bearings was selected to be this year’s Supplier Host.

The event kicked off with a review of Koyo’s Greenville Tech Center; where research and development, prototyping, and bearing analysis takes place. Then association members headed to Koyo’s Walhalla production plant for a tour Friday afternoon. This facility dates back to 1960 when it began making high speed knitting needles. Today the plant produces Thrust Bearings, Thrust Races, Stamped Ball Bearings and Needle Bearings.

The seminar concluded on Saturday with a morning full of technical sessions covering various topics including common bearing failure modes, and diagnosing of vehicle noises related to torque converters.
