Announcing the next chapter for Koyo.

Since its beginning in 1921, everything Koyo has done has revolved around motion. We have in fact squeezed a lot of history into a hundred years, moving man and machine in just about every industry and every corner of the world. Sitting still never suited us. That said, the world today is different. It's more connected. We want our brand scheme to reflect that connectivity and recognize that since 2006—when Koyo Seiko and Toyoda Machine works merged to form JTEKT—we've been knocking down walls and building one company with a single message: JTEKT delivers Quality, Reliability, and Customer Service.

Starting from April 2022, JTEKT Corporation will unify many of its global brands to the JTEKT brand. For bearings this means the Koyo brand name and logo will transition to JTEKT.

This step is intended to guarantee a unified market presence of our globally operating company. Please be informed that this is only a change of brand name and logo. We’re the same people, same company, same factories, and same great products—now with a unified name! You can rely on the continued outstanding service and product quality in the future under the JTEKT brand name that you've become accustomed to in the past with Koyo.

The brand unification will be launched starting April 2022. In consideration of the logistics supply chain, number of unique parts, and the goods in stock, a lengthy transition period for packaging and part markings is anticipated. At this time, legal entity names and other transaction/banking information remain unchanged.
